I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember and over the years I have had many different cameras.

Today my main interest is Astrophotography but since I live in the UK where we don’t have many clear nights or days for solar imaging. I also enjoy photographing landscapes and action, you can visit my photography web site to see some of my photos.

For a very long time I was a Nikon user and I still have my D4, but I found the equipment rather heavy and bulky and switched to Sony. Sony has become my goto camera for general use.

As an astrophotographer I prefer to use dedicated astro cameras such as Movarian Instruments and ZWO. However I have been experimenting with the Sony A7S2 which is a low light camera. It took some wonderful Aurora photos and video in Norway.

When Olympus released the OM-D E-M1 Mkiii with starry astro focus I couldn’t resist giving it a try and have been delighted with it, especially for Comet Neowise.
